Meet Sadie. She's one of our amazing students that spreads joy wherever she goes. If you've ever met her, you know how true this statement is. Her smile lights up our hallways, classrooms, and anywhere you have the lucky chance of running into her along your travels. She's truly one in a million!
Here's where the story takes a most pleasant twist. Sadie's grandma, Nancy Carol Sweet loved to garden. To honor her grandma and learn more about flowers, she decided to use this inspiration to spread even more joy throughout our building.
She's partnering with our Sustainable Agriculture crew to grow and harvest the flowers and then creates bouquets to give, along with a smile of course!
One of her first flower deliveries was given to Mrs. Wier, our High School Attendance Clerk. When the flowers have faded, the recipient brings the vase back to Sadie where she creates another beautiful token of charity.
You can often find her diligently working on one of her offerings. Secretly, we are all hoping she shows up at our door with her beautiful smile and warm greeting with a bouquet made just for us.
Just a little daily dose of encouragement from our dear friend, Sadie. Grow where your planted, do what you can, and spread joy wherever you go!
Thank you, Sadie.
